ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISO), Turkish Standards designed to protect information assets and to provide adequate security controls to give confidence to the relevant parties It is an international standard offered by the Institute. ISO 27001 includes organizational structure, security policies, risk assessment and risk action plans, responsibilities, practices and management of processes.

Erciyes University, Information Technologies Department ISO, an international standard for information security and created to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of information assets 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) has been completed, passed the audit on 27.12.2021 and was awarded the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System Certificate (ISMS).

We have put information security at the center of all our work so that the Information Technologies Department, which has very important functions such as serving our stakeholders, is constantly developing and renewing, responding to changing needs and being able to compete. We have completed our ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS) studies with the awareness of how important it is to develop information security awareness, increase competencies and reduce risks in this process, where legal requirements such as the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (KVKK) have emerged. Continuing to set an example with quality management and standardization processes, as in every field, we received the ISO 27001 Information Security Management System Certificate (ISMS).
